We are pleased to announce that the summer cohort for all three data quality certification strands are now open for enrollment. The onsite sessions will be held on July 6 in Machias and July 7 in Presque Isle. (See strand details for specific times and locations).

Certification is designed to support staff who are interested in beginning or strengthening a school unit's culture of data quality. These sessions will not cover the use of data, the day-to-day methods of state reporting, using Infinite Campus, MEDMS, etc. Instead, strategies will be uncovered which are meant to develop procedures, products, and conversation starters to help units with building a culture of quality data.

Each of the three strands begins with an onsite workshop, and will then have followup via online assignments and discussions. The completion is targeted for mid-late September. One and a half (1.5) CEUs are available for participants who complete the Data Coordination strand. Contact hours are available for the others.
